Developing Evidence Based Practice

This module is facilitated through a selection of lectures, seminars, small group tutorials interactive online activities and guided study materials.   

This module enables you to develop your self-management skills, particularly organisational, planning and time management skills, by compiling a dissertation proposal which critically justifies the focus of an appropriate investigation of your choosing relating to your specific area of clinical practice. You will systematically gather and critically evaluate data, including literature, and use this information to synthesise arguments to inform professional practice.

You will critically explore the focus of the proposed area of investigation, provide a sound rationale for your enquiry and effectively communicate the research proposal in the form of a presentation to your peers and module tutors.
