In this module you will explore the issue of ethical, social and environmental responsibility in business practice.  You will examine how organisations respond to stakeholder expectations.  The relationship between profit and purpose is critically assessed.  Sustainable development is central to analysis.

In the module you will be guided through the theories and concepts associated with stakeholder theory, corporate governance, and sustainability frameworks.  You will explore reporting standards and accountability mechanisms.  Ethical decision-making models are examined and the integration of CSR into strategy is analysed.

You will learnt to evaluate responsible business practices and their impact on reputation and performance.  You will develop critical awareness of greenwashing and corporate accountability.  Case studies illustrate responsible and irresponsible conduct and analytical rigour is emphasised.

You will consider global sustainability challenges and regulatory pressures.  You will reflect on corporate citizenship and long-term value creation.  Social innovation and impact measurement are discussed and by the end of the module you will understand CSR as integral to  modern business strategy.
