Here we will explore how we can identify the learning needs of students, based on an understanding of different learning contexts that exist and use appropriate learning activities to aid in the learning of English. You will be able to demonstrate language awareness as well as suitable learning strategies at a pre-service level, as well as lesson preparation and planning designed to develop the learners’ overall language competence. Teaching will delivered through a variety of mediums, such as; interactive input sessions which include pair and group tasks; supervised lesson preparation, discussion and demonstration; teaching practice and observation of experienced teachers.
