In this module, you will develop essential skills for applying an evidence-based approach to educational practice. This includes critically appraising evidence from both research (qualitative and quantitative) and evaluation studies, and understanding how to translate findings into meaningful educational improvements. You will also learn to formulate clear research questions and design basic research and quality improvement projects to inform and enhance clinical education practice.

For students on the MSc, this module lays the foundation for your dissertation by providing the tools to design and conduct your own research project.
