You will learn how well-designed experiments underpin robust and repeatable molecular genetic research. Lectures, seminars and private reading will provide a solid foundation in experimental design theory. You will expand on this theoretical knowledge by undertaking a sophisticated practical investigation of DNA methylation.  This will encompass the designing of primers, bisulphite sequencing and the bioinformatic analysis of your data.
