You'll learn best practices for constructing and documenting spreadsheets, ensuring a smooth integration into your broader data science workflow.

By the end, you'll be able to confidently explain when Excel (or comparable spreadsheet software) is the most suitable choice for all or specific parts of a data science analysis. You'll become proficient in preparing, summarising, and exploring data within Excel, as well as creating insightful visualisations.

Moreover, you'll master the art of building realistic problem-solving models while adhering to spreadsheet best practices. You'll develop the ability to document a model with a clear audit trail and critically analyse the methods and interpret the findings that emerge.
