This module provides essential knowledge of risk management techniques, investment management, insurance and pension schemes and other areas where an actuary might operate, to give real world context to their work. We will take this knowledge, combined with the principles learnt in the actuarial business, modelling and statistical subjects, and apply these skills to solve real world problems in a wide variety of situations. This material covers the content of the IFoA CP1 syllabus.
