Module code: MA7401

This module considers the mathematics fundamental to Actuarial Science. It introduces the analysis of compound interest and cash flow and some basic concepts of financial modelling. The module gives an introduction to the mathematics and notation that Actuaries use in their day-to-day work and will be used throughout the remainder of the Actuarial Science programme.
