This module explores relationships between two or more variables through regression theory and generalised linear models. We also use Bayesian Statistics and Credibility theory as methods to incorporate new information to enhance our understanding of data used in models, and to help refine models. These approaches have many real applications in insurance and other fields, such as setting and refining premiums and filtering data so that only the most relevant information is used. This module, when combined with MA7403, covers the content of the IFoA CS1 syllabus.
