Industrial Mathematics Project

Module code: MA3513 (double module)

The purpose of the Industrial Mathematics Project is for students to apply skills acquired in the other Mathematics modules to address a business question set by an industrial partner. The module lasts for two terms and will involve approximately 300 hours of your time.  

The project will be completed with an external client. You will be encouraged to develop your own problem to solve by listening to external clients' issues. In completing the project, you will assimilate information from a variety of sources and demonstrate the ability to pursue independent study. In addition, you may develop a software tool to solve the client's problem.
