Introduction to Computing

The module is designed to introduce students to the basics of data representation in computers, algorithmic thinking, and programming simple numerical methods. Students will gain practical experience of working with MATLAB. The computational problems will be drawn from the first year Calculus and Analysis and Linear Algebra modules.
