In this module you’ll investigate the relationship between law, justice and crime. It will look at some of the major problems and principles in criminal justice and put them into the wider context of justice, legitimacy and the state. By looking at contextual examples you'll start to see the law as a social phenomenon, and discover the boundaries of legal relationships. Considering legal issues from a social perspective will give you a great foundation in understanding the law.
