Introduction to Film History 2

This module will build on your knowledge from ‘Introduction to film history I’ and is designed to examine the key movements and transformations in the history of cinema throughout the second half of the 20th and the 21st century. The module will examine a diverse range of critical movements and moments in film history such as the emergence of European new waves to debates on transnationalism, and the digital turn.  Film screenings and seminars will be used to supplement your learning.
