The sustainable economy we need to create for the future cannot be achieved without electricity. In this module you’ll learn how renewable energy can be distributed and used to power all the applications society needs. You’ll consider how electricity grids have to be different when powered by renewables, how electricity is converted between DC and AC, how it is and transformed between high and low voltages and how we control electrical grids through communications devices.
