Practising and Reflecting on Communicative Language Teaching

This module offers focus on key practical issues relevant to Communicative Language Teaching. You will study a range of areas relevant to the planning and delivery of effective English language lessons. You will observe the work of experienced English language teachers and reflect on specific attributes of the observed lessons. There are opportunities for guided peer teaching and teaching groups of English language learners. You will also attend a foreign language class of your choice as a learner and reflect on the significant features of your learning experience. By attending a foreign language course, you will engage with key features of your learning experience and keep a reflective diary.
