Module code: ED7416

In this final module of the M. Ed programme you will conduct a professional enquiry to investigate a research focus of your choosing within an educational context. Your enquiry will build on the pilot study that you have previously conducted in the Practitioner Research Methods module. It will be written up as a 14 – 15000 word dissertation. Your submission will be supported by extracts from a research diary which you will keep throughout the module. During seminar and tutorial sessions you will be supported to reflect on the development of your research skills, to structure your academic writing, to critique and synthesise your reading and to analyse your findings.
