Pedagogy: Specialist Study

Building on the first module, this module uses three areas relating to pedagogy to deepen understanding of the process of teaching and learning. The module considers learning spaces, learning futures and complexity theory as ways of understanding the changing nature of pedagogy. In each case, the methodological perspective is considered to aid understanding of how pedagogy can be researched. You will enhance your understanding of wider pedagogical processes as well as your knowledge of wider educational environment. You will learn about innovative developments taking place in education and how all of these topics relate to international developments in educational systems.
