Theorising Crime and Deviance

This module focuses on the underlying theoretical processes underlying how we classify crime and deviant behaviours. We will draw on evidence to examine the social and demographic correlates for offending. Throughout the course of this module we will disseminate the major theoretical explanations for crime and deviance and highlight their assumptions and implications.
