This module will provide a comprehensive introduction on how to read, understand, modify, write, and debug bioinformatics scripts, with a particular emphasis on developing and using effective programming strategies to solve bioinformatics problems. We will explore the relevance of UNIX/Linux operating system, Python programming for bioinformatics, and how to apply the appropriate statistical analysis to bioinformatics data.
