Why develop as a simulator educator
A crucial factor in operating a successful simulation-based training (SBT) programme is the quality of the supervising faculty. The faculty are often experts in their field of practice, but may have limited theoretical and practical experience of SBT - often to the detriment of the attending trainees.
What we can offer
The Simulation Centre at Leicester (SC@LE) offers a range of faculty development workshops based on established educational principles and methodologies for individuals who are interested or actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate SBT. The workshops are led by senior faculty from SC@LE and aim to develop and enhance the knowledge and practical skills required to successfully develop and maintain high-quality medical simulation training programmes.
