Our mission in the School of Healthcare is to nurture the development of creative, critical thinking and independent researchers in the field of applied health research.

We prioritise investment in our postgraduate research community because they are our future research leaders. Many of our postgraduate researchers’ projects have underpinned future successful multi-million-pound research grants on which they have assumed a leadership role. All of our postgraduate researchers have secured academic or clinical-academic posts after completing their studies.
