University-led PGCE

Our University-led PGCE courses have a long-established reputation for developing the kind of high-quality teachers that schools value. Fundamental to this is the time we take to get to really get to know and understand our students, so that we can give them the best possible support as they progress through the course.

The provider's detailed knowledge and understanding of each individual trainee means that placements work well and schools, pupils and trainees all benefit greatly from the careful and astute planning of course leaders.

Ofsted 2015

We take the same personal approach to matching students to school placements, tailoring these to ensure you get a diverse range of contrasting experiences that will give you the skills to teach confidently in a variety of school settings, anywhere in the country.

We currently work in partnership with more than 200 primary and secondary schools in the state and independent sectors, and in city, urban and rural locations. The breadth of our school partnerships, and the opportunities this offers to our students, is just one of the things that sets our course apart.
