Family open days
Staff members had the opportunity to show their friends and family our facility to enable them to gain an understanding on biomedical research and the environment that they work in.
On 16 March 2019 we opened our doors to friends and family of our employees. Staff members provided an informative tour of the facility to 28 members of the public in total.
Our family and friends provided positive feedback on the facility following their tour.
Still positive about the use of animals, regulations are in place and observed and initiatives to reduce and replace unless justified.
Very informative tour of the facilities. Understand the need for research of such types but nice to see what actually takes place.
