Medical Research MSc (intercalated)
1 year, full-time
The iMSc in Medical Research is a bespoke course that has been designed specifically for intercalating medical students, providing you with training in research methodologies as well as a yearlong research project, allowing you to put into practice the taught components of the course through a project that interests you.
Teaching and learning
The course is assessed through a number of written assignments and presentations as well as a research poster and dissertation. Students are provided with bespoke support to help them develop the skills in reading and synthesising academic literature as well as writing extended pieces of work; skills that are not often developed in undergraduate medical training.
