About Me: I’m an international student from Bangladesh, I lived in London for three years before moving to Leicester and I love it here !

About Me: I’m in my final year of Computer Science. I play rugby for the University’s 2XV team and I also serve as the Ethnic Equity Officer for the Students’ Union.

About Me: I am from Northamptonshire and am currently living in the village. I am a member of LASS, I play in the intermural futsal league, and I am treasurer for the Labour Society.
What I enjoy most about being a CMS student: My favourite part of my course is my linear algebra units.

About Me: Outside of education, I am a huge fan of sustainable fashion, thrifting and upcycling. I use my maths skills to help me make/tailor clothes, and you will always see me around campus in bold outfits. I am big believer that STEM doesn't stifle but actually enables creativity.
What I enjoy most about being a CMS student: My course is constantly informing me on real world application of what we are learning in lectures even on a day-to-day level. I find it so interesting how numbers and statistics are used so frequently, and can be used to communicate regardless of language barriers.

Course: Software Engineering with a Year in Industry BSc
About Me: I'm a first-year student of Nigerian and Ghanaian descent. Born in East London and moved to Norfolk in 2015. When I'm not practising coding or maths, I style clothes together, my favourite anime is One Piece and I have plans on becoming a software engineer in the future.
What I enjoy most about being a CMS student: I enjoy the Maths side of Software Engineering more as with maths there's one definitive answer while coding has multiple solutions which can sometimes be annoying yet Insightful.

Course: Computer Science BSc with foundation year and year in Industry
About Me: I am currently completing my Year in Industry (YII) at the MOD. I have a strong interest in technology and problem-solving, and outside of my studies I enjoy baking and drawing in my spare time.
What I enjoy most about being a CMS student: One of the things I enjoy most about being a CMS student is the wide range of career events and opportunities organised by the department and the Computer Science Society. These events were especially valuable when applying for placements, as they provided insights, networking opportunities, and practical guidance throughout the process.

About Me: I’m a final-year Software Engineering student from Bedford. I’m currently working on Tea Trips, a travel-focused web app that makes trip planning less overwhelming and more engaging. Outside of coding, I enjoy reading fantasy stories and finding little ways to make everyday life feel a bit more magical.
What I enjoy most about being a CMS student: I really enjoy the collaborative environment within CMS, especially working with students across different year groups, sharing knowledge, and tackling interesting projects together. I also enjoy learning new concepts and putting them into practice, creating interactive features that are both functional and fun to use. The balance between learning and seeing your ideas come to life is the best part.

About Me: I enjoy going to the gym so much that i spend most of my time there. Obsessed with matcha and rice cakes. I love fashion that being styling people or making outfits come to life.
What I enjoy most about being a CMS student: I enjoy the opportunity to represent students, basically give them a voice about anything and i get to meet different people and understand them.

What I enjoy most about being a CMS student: Being a CMS student, I thoroughly enjoy chasing my passion projects of coding, hacking (ethically of course) and PC building. This university has given me many opportunities to thrive, and I’m grateful to help other students with their studies.

About Me: I am a first-year student studying Mathematics. My hobbies include art and design, cooking and eating a variety of food and going on frequent walks.
What I enjoy most about being a CMS student: As a CMS student, I am privileged that I get to access a wide range of opportunities offered by the Uni such as volunteering, summer internships and lots more. These have provided me with a network of people inside the Uni as well as in the work industry, which is great for experience and skills development. I am constantly learning ways in which maths can be applied in industries such as finance and technology, and extending my knowledge through the curriculum taught here.

About Me: I am in my first year of a BSc in Mathematics. Leicester is my home city and in my spare time I follow both Leicester City Football Club and Leicester Tigers Rugby Football Club.
What I enjoy most about being a CMS student: I enjoy learning about theories and their applications to real-world scenarios. Also, being a CMS student lets you be a part of a welcoming and diverse community where everyone has a common interest.

About Me: I was born in Leicestershire and still live here today, so the University of Leicester was an obvious choice for me. I am a member of a local tennis club and I also enjoy playing badminton at the University.
What I enjoy most about being a CMS student: I am really enjoying studying different areas of maths which I would not have previously seen in sixth form, and my favourite area of maths is linear algebra.
