Careers and Employability Service
Your studies may have finished, but as a graduate of the University of Leicester, you can still access our award-winning Careers and Employability Service.
No matter where you are in your career journey, our expert advisors can offer support, advice and guidance online, by phone, for as long as you need it.
As a graduate, you can also enjoy lifetime access to our online careers platform, MyCareers, giving you 24-hour access to hundreds of internships and graduate vacancies, career appointments and event bookings.
RefuAid
RefuAid, one of the organisations we work with, support refugees in the UK into employment commensurate with skills and experience through their Employment Programme.
Ways you can support us
As graduates of the University of Leicester and Citizens of Change, there are many ways in which you can support our work to continue breaking barriers into, through and beyond Higher Education for people from refugee backgrounds.
Write a testimonial
Testimonials and stories are a great way to inspire others, to demonstrate that our work makes a difference, but also to help us identify ways in which we can still improve.
Complete our form and send your testimonial.
Support our events
The university organises regular events to highlight our sanctuary work, thank our current supporters and find new ones, and celebrate our students’ achievements. You could support us by attending some of these events, or even use them as an opportunity to develop your public speaking skills!
Share your experience with current and future sanctuary students
You could be a role model and guide for our current and future sanctuary students who are just starting their educational journey and are perhaps facing challenges you have already overcome.
