About us
The AccessAbility team offer support and advice for students with dyslexia or other specific learning difficulties as well as working with students who have sensory disabilities, mobility difficulties, mental health conditions, long term conditions and autism. The team offer the following services:
- study skills support;
- co-ordinating alternative exam arrangements.
How to access support
The AccessAbility team provides one-to-one support to disabled students that can be accessed either in person or remotely via MS Teams.

As well as our one-to-one study skills support, AccessAbility also has a range of online study guides written specifically for disabled students.
The University’s Centre for Academic Achievement has published some specific help pages on student skills for remote study and for preparing for online assessments.
