Vulnerability Studies
Vulnerability Studies
Vulnerability is a multidisciplinary concept, one that is predominantly used as a way to denote weakness or susceptibility to harm. But the term is far more complex and asks us to think deeply about who is termed ‘vulnerable’ and why.
“The Vulnerability Studies Network” ran from February 2021 to April 2022, thanks to generous seed funding awarded by the British Academy.
“Vulnerability: A Research Method for Literary and Cultural Studies” runs from January 2022 until December 2023, and is funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council.
Please get in touch with PI of both projects, Dr Zalfa Feghali (zf31@le.ac.uk) for more information.
