Join us at an Offer Holder Day
An Offer Holder Day is a unique experience designed specifically for you and your chosen course. Unlike an Open Day, this event is tailored to provide you with an in-depth look at what you’ll study, who you’ll be taught by and how you’ll learn. It’s your chance to immerse yourself in university life, explore our state-of-the-art facilities, and make a confident, informed decision about your future.
What to expect at your Offer Holder Day
At the University of Leicester, your day will commence with a visit to your academic department, where you will:
- Discover more about your course in depth and see what excites you most about the course.
- Meet our inspiring staff and current students and have your questions answered.
- Connect with your potential new course mates.
- If you are planning on attending with a parent or carer, they can enjoy their own dedicated sessions too, providing them with valuable information and support.
After lunch, a variety of activities await you:
- Take a tour of our beautiful campus and see what’s waiting for you beyond your studies.
- Discover our accommodation options at The Village and The City, to find your future home away from home.
- Attend general talks and learn more about managing your money and student life.
- Speak to our staff and students to have your questions answered.
How to book
Your exclusive invitation, including booking links will be sent to the email address you used when you applied. If you haven’t received your booking email within two weeks after getting your offer, please get in touch.
Joint honours
If you have an offer to study one of our joint honours courses, you only need to attend one Offer Holder Day. Your booking email will invite you to the correct subject event to ensure your day is tailored to your course.
Plan your day
All of our events take place between 9.30am and 4.00pm. A detailed schedule will be sent to you before the event, allowing you to plan your day effectively. Please ensure you register your attendance when you arrive, as you will be given information to help you make the most of your day.
As well as where you need to go to register, you will also be sent information about how to find us, where to park and how you can easily get around our campus. However, if you have any accessible requirements, please get in touch so we can ensure the correct arrangements are in place.
Travel discounts
We have teamed up with National Express to offer 30% off coach travel on your journey to one of our Offer Holder Days.
Hotel discount
For those travelling a long distance, we are able to offer a discounted bed and breakfast rate at College Court.
