Fellows on our programme will be supported by a generous funding package outlined below, thanks to our funding from Wellcome.

Matched salary for all years on the programme

A monthly payment matching your salary to be used to support you throughout your studies e.g. for living costs and bills and general outgoings.

Postgraduate research fee waiver at the standard College of Life Sciences UK rates

This means that no tuition fee costs are chargeable to the fellow throughout the duration of the PhD.

Experimental research costs

Funding available to cover relevant research costs that are directly related to the studentship.

Training opportunities

Access to training in themes covering:

• Researcher training
• Science and communications
• Contribution to the community
• Health inequalities
• Career training

Funding also available to support fellows with attending externally-provided training and conferences.
