Funding

Students on this programme will be supported by a generous funding package. This will include:

• Postgraduate research fee waiver at standard College of Life Sciences UK rates for three years of the PhD
• Wellcome Trust salary for all three years of the PhD
• Research grant for training, research and travel costs

Salary

A monthly payment, matching your salary, to be used to support you throughout your studies e.g. for living costs and bills and general outgoings.

Fee waiver

This means that no tuition fee costs are chargeable to the student throughout the three years of the PhD.

Research grant

Funding available to students on the programme to cover relevant training, research and travel costs that are directly related to the studentship, project or placement.
