Targeted cancer treatment could provide new hope for mesothelioma patients

A new clinical trial will test whether a type of targeted cancer treatment could improve survival for people with a rare and aggressive form of cancer. Mesothelioma develops in the lining of the lungs or abdomen, with most cases linked to breathing in asbestos fibres.

Air quality can be better for active commuters than drivers, research shows

Their findings show that NO2 concentrations can be higher in car cabins (even electric car cabins) than alongside the road where people are walking and cycling. Some PM2.5 can be removed, for example by pollen filters, meaning PM2.

Screams extracted from the population of Britain, as seen in the Disney and Pixar film Monsters, Inc,. could theoretically be used to generate enough energy to power the country, according to a Natural Sciences student from the Centre for Interdisciplinary Science.
