Launch and trajectory

BepiColombo was successfully launched on an Ariane 5 rocket from Kourou, French Guiana on 20 October 2018. The mission will take seven Earth years to reach Mercury.

It is with great sadness that Paul Radcliffe,18, has today been named as the University of Leicester student who died in a hit and run collision in Oadby at the weekend. The incident happened in Stoughton Drive South in Oadby, at around 12.30am on Saturday 19 January.
