Launch of four new research centres

The School are delighted to announce the approval of four new research centres:

  • Centre for Sustainable Organisations
  • Centre for Healthcare Innovation, Policy and Management
  • Centre for Finance, Governance and Sustainable Growth
  • Choice Research Centre

Our centres are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of knowledge and innovation in specialised fields, led by experienced academics, early career researchers and postgraduate researchers.

Centre for Sustainable Organisations

Led by Dr Hana Trollman the centre sets out to empower organisations of all sizes to address societal grand challenges by leveraging research collaboration and educational opportunities to support the societal, environmental and economic sustainability of as many organisations as possible

Centre for Healthcare Innovation, Policy and Management

Led by Professor Gregory Maniatopoulos and Dr Gemma Hughes, the centre brings together academics, doctoral researchers and professionals with an interest in healthcare innovation, public policy and implementation in the context of health and social care, public health and mental health services.

Centre for Finance, Governance and Sustainable Growth

Led by Professor Ania Zalewska, FGSG aims to support the development of cross-disciplinary research that systematically tackles challenges at the intersection of finance (financial markets, financial institutions, corporations and investors), governance (governance, regulation and accounting standards) and management studies (digital transformation, AI development and sustainable growth, innovation and enterprise) to discern their economic, environmental and societal consequences.

Choice Research Centre

Led by Professor Fabio Tufano, the Choice Research Centre fosters behavioural and economic knowledge for societal impact by investigating human behaviour and leveraging an array of methods, including laboratory experiments and randomised controlled trials, for scalable interventions.  The centre is also home to the LexEcon Lab.

These centres showcase the best of our research expertise and we are excited to see how they are taken forward to contribute to the strength of our research culture.
