Where we are

The Department operates over several locations and benefits from close links with the NHS.

We have excellent facilities for research with well-equipped laboratories. As part of the College of Life Sciences, we have access to a range of shared facilities: Core Biotechnology Service (CBS) provides items essential to the modern researcher.

Our teaching community (including a group of teaching focused academics) contribute to undergraduate and post-graduate taught degree courses, particularly within the School of Biological Sciences. We also host a large postgraduate research community of doctoral students performing research towards achieving a PhD.
