Conditional offers
A conditional offer means that you are required to meet certain conditions before beginning your degree with us.
A condition may be:
- Getting the required A-level results (or an equivalent qualification)
- Sending us further information, such as copies of qualifications or references
- Achieving a certain score in an English language test
We will be notified of your A-level results by UCAS and if you have got the grades that you needed, we will make your offer unconditional. You will be notified of this through UCAS.
If English is not your first language, you may need evidence that you meet the appropriate English language requirement for your course. If you have not met that requirement you can attend one of our English Language Teaching Unit's pre-sessional English courses to reach the appropriate level before your degree begins. Once you have completed the pre-sessional course and passed a University of Leicester English test you can progress to your chosen degree. Please visit the English Language Teaching Unit website for more details and to apply.
