Profile

I have been teaching across psychology subject areas in higher education institutions in the Netherlands and the UK for several years. In 2018 I received my PhD from the University of Groningen and joined the University of Leicester as a Teaching Fellow working on the distance learning MSc Psychology (conversion course).

Research

My research interests lie in health psychology more specifically the process of adjustment to chronic illness with a particular focus on patients with renal disease. I am also interested in behaviour change interventions both in regards to concordance with medical advice as well as lifestyle changes.
