Profile

I am a NERC funded PhD student at the University of Leicester, within the Earth Observation Science and National Centre for Earth Observation (NCEO) group. My PhD thesis is titled “Map the spatial characteristics of urban air pollution from aerosols at a time of climate change, health choices and pandemics using Sentinel-2”, where I’m retrieving aerosol and surface reflectance products from Sentinel-2 at very high spatial resolution (60m) and validating it using in-situ data.

Conferences

  • 2023: UK Space Conference (Poster: Tracking methane emission using Sentinel-2).
  • 2023: NCEO Conference (Poster: High spatial resolution aerosol retrieval and validation over Northern India (Kanpur) using Sentinel-2)
  • 2023: European Aerosol Conference (EAC) (Poster: Improving PM2.5 monitoring over Indo-Gangetic Plain (Kanpur) using CAMS, Sentinel-2 and in-situ data)
  • 2022: AGU Fall Meeting (Poster: Impact of Inter-State Migration on Health Burden Attributable to Ambient PM2.5 in India).
  • 2022: NCEO Conference (Poster: Characterising High Spatial Resolution Aerosol Data From Satellite With Ground-Based Observations)
