"I am an academic and chartered engineer with the Institute of Engineering and Technology. I have a broad expertise in electrical and electronic engineering with a strong industrial background."

Research

My main research areas are in novel electrical machines power electronics and the control of drives. I am also active in energy conversion including pulsed power and power electronic systems. I have also had research projects in other areas of electrical and electronic engineering including; battery monitoring and management rapid battery recharging electrical power systems renewable energy and more recently pulsed plasma thrusters for spacecraft.
