NCUK partnership opens up opportunities for international students to study at the University of Leicester

Students from across the globe have a new opportunity to study at the University of Leicester.

The University has partnered with leading international pathway provider, NCUK, to expand the choices available to pathway students who are eager to study abroad.

This partnership provides NCUK students with direct progression routes into some of Leicester’s most prestigious academic programmes, including Medicine, which is one of the most attractive options available in the NCUK university network.

Director of the University of Leicester’s Future Students Office, Phil Dalby, said: “We are delighted to welcome NCUK as a trusted pathway partner of the University. NCUK’s reputation as one of the UK’s most established and reputable providers of pathway courses makes it an excellent fit for Leicester, an institution committed to research-inspired teaching and the empowerment of its diverse body of students to become Citizens of Change.”

Holly Searson, Head of University Partnerships at NCUK, said: “We’re excited to partner with the University of Leicester, ranked in the top 300 globally by QS World University Rankings and one that is known for its innovative spirit and strong academic programmes.

The partnership opens up the opportunity for students from NCUK’s pathway courses, which are delivered in more than 40 countries worldwide, to join the University in year 1, selected courses in year 2 and onto masters courses in management.

The University of Leicester accepts the NCUK International Foundation Year (IFY), including progression to Medicine, as well as International Year One (Business and Management/Accounting and Finance), Masters Preparation (MP), and English for Academic Purposes (EAP).
