Training in Azerbaijan

Staff from the English Language Teaching Unit (ELTU) recently returned from delivering a week long programme at Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (AUAC).

The programme included a week long English for Medium Instruction course for 16 academic from AUAC as well as additional English Language Training.  ELTU are working with AUAC to endorse their STEM Foundation programme. This collaboration resulted from the hard work from UoL staff led by Kate Walewska from the Future Students Office.

Ulker Sattarova, the Head of Strategy Planning at AUAC, commented: "The level of work you did during these days, months and years was really very very impressive. You cannot imagine the feedback which is coming after your activity from our staff/teachers."

Phil Horspool, Director of ELTU, added: “It’s great to see the impact of our training and visits on the development of AUAC. We hope this will lead to us being able to endorse their programme and, in the future, to us welcoming students from AUAC onto UoL degree programmes.”
