University showcases opportunities for mature students at open afternoon

On 3 June, the University will host a Mature Student Open Afternoon to provide a range of valuable information for anyone who is aged over 21, interested in going to university but unsure where to start.

The afternoon will consist of talks on student finance, the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS), career opportunities, as well as opportunities to tour the University of Leicester campus and meet current mature students.

The information provided will be specifically tailored to older students who may think they have missed out on getting a degree or realised that now is the time to get back into education.

The Open Afternoon will take place between 1:00pm and 4:00pm on Saturday 3 June in the Percy Gee Building at the University of Leicester.

Parking is available for free close to the University.  This event is free, open to the general public and will be family friendly.
