Free language taster sessions from Languages at Leicester
A long-running language learning programme offering over a dozen languages is offering members of the public the opportunity to try a new language for free.
The University of Leicester's School of Modern Languages is currently ranked 3rd nationally in the Guardian University League Tables, and this year marks the 10th anniversary of its languages evening programme, Languages at Leicester.
To celebrate these ten years, Languages at Leicester is organising Free Taster Sessions in different languages which will take place over three days at the Leicester Central Library in Bishop Street, Leicester, LE1 6AA.
The sessions on offer are:
- Monday 21 September, 5.30-6.30pm - Languages: Dutch and Mandarin Chinese
- Tuesday 22 September 2015, 5.30-6.30pm - Languages: Arabic and Portuguese
- Thursday 23 September 2015, 5.30-6.30pm - Languages: Polish and Russian
Anybody and everybody can join in, meet the programme’s team of tutors and learn few phrases and facts in the language of their choice. Participants can book a place for free through the Languages at Leicester website.
