Speaking your language University creates its first foreignlanguage video news release
Our Creative Services and News teams have worked together to produce the University’s first foreign-language video news release.
The video news release focuses on University of Leicester research to ‘save the most valuable silk moth in the world’. It was made by Carl Vivian from the Creative Team working with Ellen Rudge and Ather Mirza from the News Centre.
It features an interview with an Indian scientist who identifies a potential treatment for diseased caterpillars native to his home state of Assam.
The interview is conducted in English with Professor Martha Clokie of the Department of Infection, Immunity and Inflammation and in Hindi/Urdu with Dr Mahananda Chutia, a Visiting Post-Doctoral Fellow from India.
