College Court to increase capacity due to high demand
It’s been a busy 18 months for College Court and now the Conference Centre and Hotel has announced that it is expanding its facilities.
Due to an extremely high volume of enquiries College Court, only opened in October 2013, is already increasing its capacities to include another conference room to hold 100 delegates.
Its existing Willow and Sycamore suites will undergo renovation in August 2015, transforming the two training rooms into one large meeting room to hold up to 100 delegates in a theatre style set up.
The work is to be undertaken by the University’s Division of Estates and Facilities Management and will start on Monday 10 August, lasting approximately three weeks. Much of the work is internal and will cause very limited disruption to delegates and neighbours.
It follows a softening project in the Knighton Restaurant which included a new planting and lighting scheme.
The expansion also brings a brand new third coffee station, offering guests a speedy cup of fresh bean to cup coffee with the addition of a dynamic new ‘Grazing Station’ with all the treats you could wish for when re-charging your batteries during your break time.
