Free public lecture on mindfulness to focus on enhancing learning mental health and happiness
Members of the public are invited to attend a free public lecture on how mindfulness can help them. The lecture will be delivered by Dr Craig Hassed, a GP, International Advisor and senior lecturer from Monash University Medical School in Australia with multiple books published on the subject of mindfulness.
He will be explaining the value of mindfulness and how it can be applied in everyday life. The lecture, arranged by Leicester Medical School, will be of interest to anyone looking to learn more about mindfulness and how it can reduce stress and anxiety, enhance learning and mental health and improve relationships and overall happiness.
The lecture will take place at 5.30pm on Thursday 2 July in the Ken Edwards Building Lecture Theatre 1, University of Leicester. All members of the public are welcome to attend. Further information is available on the event website.
