This module will provide the opportunity for you to learn the principles of working as a radiographer and the professional attributes you will utilise. Through a combination of lectures, tutorials and small group work this module teaches you how to successfully communicate, utilising a range of skills, with a wide and diverse range of patient groups and other professionals. You will enhance your skills of self-reflection and their application to clinical practice and beyond.

Professional values and responsibilities in health and social care settings are also identified along with the basics of patient safety and first aid.

You will be inducted into the university and begin to consider the academic skills you will need to succeed.
