Clinical Skills: Introducing Practice 1

Module code: PH1003

This module builds on the knowledge and experience gained from undertaking other modules delivered in session one and from any previous life experience of healthcare and physiotherapy, applying that knowledge to the physiotherapy assessment process. It will serve as an underpinning for the development of assessment skills, intervention planning and rehabilitation which is taught in session two. 

This delivery will allow you to make links between these subjects, giving you a clear understanding of the physiotherapy assessment process. The module begins by considering features of assessment that are generic to all settings and then develops assessment techniques for more specialised area of physiotherapy.
