Professional Development Internship/Elective

Module code: NU3013

This module is an exciting opportunity for you to undertake an elective or apprenticeship role in clinical practice, research, leadership or education. An introductory lecture will launch the module and the organisation of electives and internships. A number of internships negotiated by the programme team will be available – and you will be able to arrange elective experiences for yourself and follow the appropriate University policy/guidelines. You will also negotiate a learning contract/scheme of work which will guide your experience and enhance your personal and professional development.

Assessment will take place in the form of an oral presentation to peers, where you will critically reflect on your elective or internship placement with your professional development plan.
