Visual Cognition: From the laboratory to the real world

This module will explore we will issues surrounding the study of visual cognition, and discover cutting-edge research ranging from low level visual processing to high level processing of visual stimuli. The topics reflect lecturers' research interests and therefore provide an exciting opportunity to learn about cutting-edge research direct from experts in the field. The exact topics will reflect the research interests of the lecturers teaching on the module each year. Although research in this area is largely laboratory based, for each topic there is emphasis on the real world implications and applications.
