Organisational Research and Consultancy Methods and the MBA project

In this module you will undertake an independent, practice-focused research project under the supervision of an academic Project Supervisor.  You will apply and further develop the knowledge and skills gained in the Organisational Research and Consultancy Methods module to address a practical business or management issue.  The choice of topic is up to you.  For instance you could do a consultancy-like project in your own organisation, to help it solve a pressing problem; or you could examine industry experiences with particular strategies and tactics in any functional areas (e.g. marketing, finance, operations); or develop part of a business plan for a prospective start-up company.  The possibilities are endless; while the choice of topic should reflect your career ambitions, as the purpose of this project is to enhance your promotion chances with your current employer and/or employability in the job market.
